The Clark
This lecture by assistant curator of education Danielle Steinmann will highlight The Clark's co-founder, Francine Clary Clark, and discuss some of the great women artists in the Clark's collection, including Mary Cassatt, Berthe Morisot, and Marie Louise Elisabeth Vigée-Lebrun. She will also give a preview of the summer 2009 exhibition, which features the work of Georgia O'Keeffe. Part of a Berkshires-wide celebration of the United Nation's International Women's Day, whose 2009 theme is "Women in the Arts."
