Description

Ever wonder how a bronze sculpture is made? Harrison Gallery visitors are continually fascinated by the collection of delightful visual puns and animal characters sculpted by artist Susan Read Cronin. Cronin’s bronze sculptures are cast at the Berkshire Fine Arts Foundry in Pittsfield. The artist will discuss her process of inspiration and describe the lost wax casting process, using several original works of art as examples.
