The '62 Center
We are sorry to say that the INISH Spring Concert has changed. The Saturday performance has been CANCELED! If you bought tickets for the Saturday evening performance please join us Friday instead. If you are unable to attend on Friday please stop by the box office during normal business hours (Tues-Sat, 1-5pm) for a refund.
INISH, directed by Holly Silva, is one of five dance ensembles at Williams College. In the Irish language, the word “Inish” means both “island” and “to tell.” INISH’s mission is to embrace the challenge of creating new work that melds traditional and contemporary Irish dance and music. This year INISH will be exploring the influence of the female presence through history, myth, and legend up to the present day. Discover some who were known as great imposters, soldiers, pirates, fairies, healers, lovers, witches, artists, queens, and saints. Come enjoy Eireann (Ireland) from the powerfully feminine perspective.
These performances are made possible in part by the Lipp Family Fund for Performing Artists.
