Bard College at Simon's Rock

Description

Trio in E minor by Louise Farrenc, a major chamber work by a great but almost forgotten woman composer from the 19th century will be performed by Simon's Rock students (and sisters): Karen Lee on violin and Jessica Lee on cello, with Larry Wallach on piano. The program, at the Kellogg Music Center, will also include madrigals for women, sung by an ensemble of 10 women and conducted by Jack Brown.
